[5:22 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: Gualter cackles, looking at the poor soul who dared to challenge him. Resting on the armrest of his golden throne stands a glowing black sheathed sword. The emperor slow stands himself up, and picks up the blade to his left, "You dare to challenge me? Maybe you have defeated my son, and maybe you have defeated that little pawn that was once your lovebird, and maybe you made it this far, but you will not take Ethysia from your majesty and the beings beyond he." Gualter unsheathes the blade and points the eerie, glowing sword at Persephone, "Just try to beat me. Go ahead, ladies first," he smirked evilly, and his old skin crunched up as he attempted to do so. Persephone attacks! Luna Activates! Crit! 52 damage! (18/70) She eats the Lime Candy Gualter counters! Crit! 35 damage! (22/57) He eats the Camo Candy Persephone attacks again! Gualter's Guards Down is Active! 12 damage! (6/70)(edited)

[9:47 PM] Kwakado: "You have already abandoned Ethysia to the dark powers, alongside your sanity. You corrupted General Kyron.....even your own son...!" Persephone raises her iridescent blade, its saccharine glow covering her completely, and sends it crashing over the maniacal warlord with none of her usual finesse. Filled with bloodlust and otherworldly zeal, neither of the duelists allow a shred of caution to dull their Terror Blades, even as they carved brutally into each other's flesh. By the first bout's end, both of them were close to death, staring each other down as they tear off a bite of their blades with their teeth. But before Persephone can speak, or ride at him again, the dictator reveals his last resort.

[9:47 PM] Kwakado: Gualter Phase Gualter summons High Priest + 1! High Priest 1 + heals Gualter for 40 (46/70) High Priest 1 + charges her Live Staff Gualter summons Darkness! Player units cannot pass Darkness tiles until enough enemy units in the room are defeated or until Gualter has more than full HP. One Darkness tile disappears for every enemy in the room killed or for every point of HP he goes over the cap. Gualter summons Avel 4! Gualter summons some Draco Zombies! Gualter keeps Terror Blade Equipped. Gualter Phase Complete!

[9:50 PM] Kwakado: Turn 13 It is impossible to see Gualter - the darkness is too thick.

[9:57 PM] Kwakado: "Gualter!" Persephone readies Thanatos, the Divine Weapon of Rhesus, pointing it through a gap in the darkness towards the figure within. A furious light wells up from the heart of the hilt, filling the blade. "You will not hide from me!"(edited)

[9:57 PM] Kwakado: Persephone vs Gualter "What?! How can you see me you little brat? Begone!"

[10:04 PM] Kwakado: "Vengenace guides my hand. And the honor you once stood for!" A torrent of shining shockwaves follow her slashes, cutting through the dark and into the Emperor. As the final attack misses its mark, the mad maiden closes her eyes, and throws Thanatos straight ahead for her final attack. Persephone attacks and Astra's for 4 hits and a miss (14/70) Persephone attacks again and hits for 14 (0/70) Gualter is defeated! Persephone obtains the dropped 5000 gold! The Dracoshield is sent to the convoy. The darkness disappears.

[10:05 PM] Kwakado: Gualter watched in shock as the unwieldy throwing sword slashed across his chest then boomeranged back to its owner atop the horse, just aside his shield of darkness. He stared straight at the attacker for a few moments, then suddenly fell down, landing on his right knee in front of the throne. Candy spilled onto the ground as he dropped the Terror Blade onto the blood stained carpet.

Story Dump ??? attacks Theron!* "Bwahahaha! Silly you, little Richard... Or, should I say, Archduke Theron. You've fallen right into my trap," he paced back and forth," I've heard alot about your tactics... I wonder why you failed here?" "Gah! Nope! Of course I do! All you care about is that little daughter of yours, isn't it?" asked the man, his voice old, and just screaming evil. "..." Theron struggles for words. He begins to weep. "Exactly! You have failed her, your only true daughter, and its too late to do anything about it!" he laughs a maniacal laugh.(edited) "Its a shame to see one as powerful as yourself faulter in a place like this - your very own home!" Theron remains silent. "Let's just get this over with, shall we?" ??? attacks! Critical Hit! 46 damage! (0/60) Theron is defeated. Theron clutches his wounds, but being too severe, he falls over, out of breath.(edited)

"Bwahahahaha! No one can beat us now! Arcias - she's mine! Ethysia cannot lose now!" He looks slowly down the stairs. "Oh, its you. You little Floribian pest - Phineas, was it?" Finn stares at the man. The man slowly lowers his hood, revealing an identity anyone should have been able to recognize. The older man, deformed and ugly, stared down, "You must surely know who I am, correct?" Finn stares, blankly. After a few moments, "Yes," he mumbled. "Out with it then!" "You're... the Ethysian emporer..." The man laughs hysterically, "Of course it is - its I, Gualter! Supreme overlord of Ethysia - and Florbiar." "And now, Arcias, too!"

"Soon, all of Junith - will be mine!" "And there's nothing you puny runts can do to stop me!" A somewhat respectable looking soldier runs up to the Emperor. "Your majesty, your reinforcements have arrived outside the castle." "Perfect! How fares the oppenent outside?" "There's only 3 of them left, sir. They should be dead in a few minutes." "Great... round up these fools and toss them all in the prison." "And that girl, Noelle - execute her as soon as they are locked up." As the two exchange information while retreating to the throne, Erik runs over to Finn. "There's still time, milord. Theron gave me this map of the castle before the battle." "According to it, there's a hidden set of stairs behind that door the purple-haired archer opened. We must escape!" "But what about those outside, and in the prison? We surely cannot leave them here to rot under Gualter."

"Fear not! If I am understanding the situation correctly, that merchant man should be near the princess's cell by now. The Barentian woman and the thief have likely been working on saving her retainers. There's a set of stairs down there, too. They should be able to make it out safely." "And those outside?" "Well, they have two options, it seems. Fight through however many reinforcements Gualter may have - which doesn't seem too plausible, or they could come inside, and try to meet up with us as we escape. However, if they could defeat Fenna, they may be able to sneak out while lowering the opponent's morale at the same time. I'll make sure they receive word as soon as possible." "I suppose we have no other choice."

Albion grins, ignoring her surprise. "Valerie! I'm pleased you came to help me- for a moment, I thought everyone had forgotten I was here." Without pause in the conversation, the fortune teller takes on a businesslike tone as he tends to her wounds. "The friendly one is the princess Noelle... and the one with the sword is her companion, Eva." With his free hand, he gestures towards the disgruntled swordswoman. "Finn will want to see them out of here alive." Valerie nodded as Albion healed her. "Some prisoner I helped named Dexter and myself cleared most of the enemies on the other side. Irving's with us there and some lance soldier from a cell." she explained to him. @NethaEmerald @chukl

Eva steps out of the prison cell, "You found Dexty? Where's he at?" Noelle calls from behind her, "Dexter? Where's he found himself now, Eva?" "You really expect me to know?" she turned around and answered, slightly irritated.(edited)

"What a colorful cast of characters." Valerie mentally noted in her head. However, she spoke up by saying "Dexter's on the other side of the wall with another ally from our Army." As she motioned to herself and Albion. "And some guy with a lance; don't know who he is."

Noelle steps out the prison cell and takes a quick peek around, "That'd be Ark." Eva quickly says, "I thought Ark was tough enough to not get himself caught. I guess that means I'm better afterall!" Noelle shakes her head disapprovingly, but the swordswoman doesn't notice.

"Ugh, how many times do I have to say it? That lazy man did next to nothing!" Eva complained. Despite knowing she should be scolding Eva, Noelle can't help herself, so she puts her fingers up to her mouth and giggles.

Noelle chimes in, "We should be able to sneak around him and reach the stairs, right? There's a staircase that can bring us to the inside floor or as an escape route." "Yeah, the one I mentioned earlier," added Eva.

The fortune teller nods. "Yes. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but... before I was sent down here, our forces- and your father, Noelle- were engaged with the enemy. If the alarm has been raised, I cannot imagine they fare well now." He folds his arms. "We should make haste- while the main force is still occupied."(edited)

Noelle mentioned, before turning back to the member's of Finn's Army, "Its nice to meet the both of you," she smiled.
