[5:22 PM] Mappy | Best Dog: Gualter cackles, looking at the poor soul who dared to challenge him. Resting on the armrest of his golden throne stands a glowing black sheathed sword. The emperor slow stands himself up, and picks up the blade to his left, "You dare to challenge me? Maybe you have defeated my son, and maybe you have defeated that little pawn that was once your lovebird, and maybe you made it this far, but you will not take Ethysia from your majesty and the beings beyond he."
Gualter unsheathes the blade and points the eerie, glowing sword at Persephone, "Just try to beat me. Go ahead, ladies first," he smirked evilly, and his old skin crunched up as he attempted to do so.
Persephone attacks! Luna Activates! Crit! 52 damage! (18/70) She eats the Lime Candy
Gualter counters! Crit! 35 damage! (22/57) He eats the Camo Candy

[9:47 PM] Kwakado: "You have already abandoned Ethysia to the dark powers, alongside your sanity. You corrupted General Kyron.....even your own son...!"
Persephone raises her iridescent blade, its saccharine glow covering her completely, and sends it crashing over the maniacal warlord with none of her usual finesse. Filled with bloodlust and otherworldly zeal, neither of the duelists allow a shred of caution to dull their Terror Blades, even as they carved brutally into each other's flesh.
By the first bout's end, both of them were close to death, staring each other down as they tear off a bite of their blades with their teeth. But before Persephone can speak, or ride at him again, the dictator reveals his last resort.

High Priest 1 + charges her Live Staff
Gualter summons Darkness! Player units cannot pass Darkness tiles until enough enemy units in the room are defeated or until Gualter has more than full HP. One Darkness tile disappears for every enemy in the room killed or for every point of HP he goes over the cap.

It is impossible to see Gualter - the darkness is too thick.

Persephone readies Thanatos, the Divine Weapon of Rhesus, pointing it through a gap in the darkness towards the figure within. A furious light wells up from the heart of the hilt, filling the blade.

"What?! How can you see me you little brat? Begone!"
[10:04 PM] Kwakado: "Vengenace guides my hand. And the honor you once stood for!"
A torrent of shining shockwaves follow her slashes, cutting through the dark and into the Emperor. As the final attack misses its mark, the mad maiden closes her eyes, and throws Thanatos straight ahead for her final attack.

Gualter is defeated!
Persephone obtains the dropped 5000 gold!
The Dracoshield is sent to the convoy.
The darkness disappears.
[10:05 PM] Kwakado: Gualter watched in shock as the unwieldy throwing sword slashed across his chest then boomeranged back to its owner atop the horse, just aside his shield of darkness. He stared straight at the attacker for a few moments, then suddenly fell down, landing on his right knee in front of the throne. Candy spilled onto the ground as he dropped the Terror Blade onto the blood stained carpet.
